#01 Baby Numbat Feltorial
Sleeping Aussie Baby Series, beginner level.
Thanks for your interest in needle felting.
I'm going to show you how to create this lovely Numbat out of wool in a matter of hours.
The Numbat is the first Feltorial in a series of twelve. Each Sleeping Aussie Baby teaches you more techniques of this wonderful art form.
To make this Numbat you will need:
• A ball of light Romney Core or any other core wool about 8-10 gms.
• Shetland Top Coat in 4 colours; brown 5 gms, grey 5 gms, black 1-2 gms and white 1-2 gms.
"This free tutorial was my first introduction to needle felting. I found Reena’s instruction videos very easy to follow with clear instructions and information. Got me hooked on needle felting and was nice it was free so I could see if needle felting suited me."

Hi I'm Reena,
My needle felting journey started when my sister gave me a needle. I was immediately addicted and became completely obsessed with this magical stabbing. I call it Ácupuncture for the Soul'. It's a mindful distraction from stress, anxiety and depression.
Nature inspires me. I love creating something from natural materials, especially when the fibre comes from my own flock. It’s a wonderful feeling to create something so tactile and emotionally charged and even better to see someone else achieve this. This is why I created a comprehensive course that takes a complete beginner at needle felting thru to an advanced level of my illusionary realism.
I just love to share my experiences and encourage, inspire and empower you to find freedom through creation.
Let's start stabbing.
"I first met Reena at a Numbat workshop and have since completed all 12 Aussie Babies. Reena's support has been fantastic and her instructions are very clear. I highly recommend the series and suggest that anyone interested in having a shot at this craft should go for it. It is very satisfying and and highly addictive."
