History of Drysdale Wool

I'm very excited to share this long awaited Feltorial on Drysdale Wool. This amazing fibre is Australia's only heritage breed and its history is very interesting. Originally from New Zealand and bred from some courser Romney sheep, one of my favourite fibres, and saved from complete extinction in Australia by Wendy Beer. Here's the History of Drysdale wool from Beersheba Farm. Its a very interesting read.

I'm sure you will be inspired by this amazing and magical fibre and its uses .. I can't wait to see what you make with your Drysdale.
